Eaton's IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Program Manager I. This position will be located at our Los Angeles, CA facility.

The Program Manager leads the Platform, Site or Business Unit Program Management and Integrated Product Team(s) to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and life of the program financial performance by managing customer programs, contracts, and business relationships.

The Program Manager is responsible for the successful execution of New Product Development (NPD) and Product Support projects and issues/opportunities that arise out of numerous areas such as field issues, manufacturing/test issues and/or supply chain challenges. In addition, the Program Manager is responsible for successful execution of NPD Program(s) and projects and their budget allocation. The incumbent will lead the Integrated Product Team(s) to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and life of the program financial performance by managing customer programs, sustaining engineering challenges/issues, contracts, and business relationships.

The Los Angeles facility has approximately 280 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacturing and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems, and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $107812.53 - $158125.04 a year.

What you'll do:

• Manage budget of all NPD and Product Support related projects/issue/opportunities at the site. Responsibility, Authority and Accountability (RAA) for every project scope delivery and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
• Manage the Profit and Loss of the NPD Program(s) and projects.
• Champion Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership across the Program.
• Facilitate the implementation of lessons learned from post-Gate 5/6 NPD programs that have issues in the field, manufacturing/test issues and/or supply chain challenges at the site.
• Supervise the functional participants assigned to the product support projects and/or NPD program or site/business unit in a matrix environment.
• Provide overall Program or site/business unit interface with the customer. Improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communicate and manage customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.
• Ensure adequate support to the program and project teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.
• Maintain metrics for program for earned value (CPI/SPI), quality, technical performance and delivery through all PROLaunch phases.
• Coordinate all risks and requirements of the program into a complete integrated entity. This is accomplished by planning, controlling, integrating all projects into the programs and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.
• Manage customer contract, pricing, terms and conditions and contractual flow-down through the organization.
• Establish and negotiate pricing strategies by system and/or product, market and by customer. Develop contract negotiation strategies. Ensure effective change management process is utilized.
• Provide periodic program updates (Program Status Report - Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). Provide updates to the business units as well as divisional, group and sector levels.
• Play a key role in developing new business proposals and executing the overall program plan.
• Seek team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coach and provide feedback on performance indicators.
• Coordinate and monitor a One Eaton Aerospace program technical personnel across multiple sites.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in Program or Project Management.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Los Angeles, CA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience in Aerospace New Product Development (NPD) and Product Support programs.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP).
• Experience in Risk Management and Earned Value Management Systems.

• Fully demonstrating to proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools.

• Ability to effectively present results and recommendations to senior-level executive team.
