Job summary
The Program Manager will manage infrastructure and/or NPI projects for Eaton PCS - Protection, Control, and Solutions. This role involves initiating, organizing, and ensuring the timely completion of assigned projects. Key responsibilities include planning and scheduling projects, aligning resources, and developing project expense and capital budgets. The Program Manager will identify necessary activities, assess risks, develop risk mitigation plans, and regularly track and report project status. This position requires managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful project delivery. The Program Manager will interface with multiple stakeholders within ES-A, as well as internal and external cross-functional teams and suppliers. The individual will develop a deep understanding of infrastructure projects, including detailed requirements to deliver best-in-class results.

Job responsibilities
1. Lead the planning and implementation of projects for the Protection, Control, and Solutions (PCS) division.
2. Accountability for project scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
3. Establishes objectives, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Provides direction to the program and project teams in areas of project needs, potential changes in scope and risk assessment.
4. Ensures the PROLaunch team creates and maintains the Activity Matrix deliverables and leads the Program team during phases and Gate Review events.
5. Ensure standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the program and project teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.
6. Works in cross-disciplinary manner with other departments (e.g., EHS, HR, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Suppliers, etc.) and facilitates the PROLaunch processes.
7. Coordinates all risks and requirements of the program by planning, controlling, integrating all projects into the programs and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved through team meetings.
8. Financial acumen to manage actual project spend vs. plan and to effectively budget on-going expenses and capital expenditures. Supports the development of the capital appropriate request (CAR) and manages monthly CAR reporting for assigned programs.
9. Communicates timely project status to internal leaders.
10. Understands project impact to the business and identifies impact of project changes.
11. Drives the implementation of company standard tools to improve Program Management performance at the site. Such as ProPM and IBP.
12. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

Qualifications:
Education level required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering field (Industrial, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Software), or related fields
Years and area of experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in product development, manufacturing, or engineering operations
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in project management; responsible for schedule, budgets, and product quality
Technical knowledge
- Bilingual: English & Spanish
- Experience and proved proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Solid technical background with a comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in infrastructure projects. This includes expertise in electrical installations, furniture setup, and other related areas.
- Computer knowledge: Microsoft office 365 tools, prefer PBI
