Production Supervisor

Eaton's EPG CPD PCD Power Components Division division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor.

This role is based in our Beaver, PA facility. Relocation assistance will be provided.

This is a second shift role. The hours will be 3:30pm-12:00am/Monday-Friday

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you'll do:

As a Production Supervisor your responsibility will be to foster a safety-first environment and actively promote practices that prevent incidents. You'll also implement safety programs to minimize workplace accidents. The Supervisor will oversee the allocation of manpower within your assigned area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining 5S+ standards. Address safety concerns promptly and take corrective actions as needed.

In this role you will:

  • Train, upgrade, and evaluate operators' skills. Providing ongoing coaching and development to enhance performance is essential, and regular reviews of operator performance are necessary.
  • Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to labor contract provisions. When required, apply fair and judicious disciplinary measures.
  • Keep accurate records of employee attendance, performance, and departmental activities.
  • Report process and equipment problems promptly and collaborate with relevant personnel for assistance.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing OR operations environment.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Beaver, PA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing OR operations environment.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and implement change activities.
  • Working knowledge of current manufacturing, engineering, materials management and quality assurance methods and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships at all levels in the organization.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
  • Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and understanding.
