What you'll do:
Job Summary
Supervise, lead, facilitate and/or coordinate production activities and resources, according to policies, procedures and best practices within the job area assigned, to ensure deliveries on time, quality and Lean compliance, that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities
Based on scope and area assigned:
A. Prepare and deliver production daily report, based on plan assigned.
B. Coordinate, leverage, and utilize appropriately resources to resolve safety, quality, Lean and manufacturing situations in order to improve processes and meet external and internal customer demands.
C. Coordinate and manage employees actions: recruitment, pay actions, trainings, HR incidents (attendance, punctuality, overtime, vacations, and permissions), and engagement activities.

D. Maintain Kanban inventory, process inventories (WIP) within min-max according to demand. Ensuring the administration of production resources.
E. Participate in setting, communicating and achieving department goals and objectives and develop and maintain performance metrics as required to monitor results and use those results as a tool to identify and initiate process improvements within own work area. Coordinate and/or participate in continuous improvement teams in own or other areas to enhance plant results ( CIF).
F. Coordinate with Human Resources in the selection, promotion, counseling, lay off and termination of employees using Eaton guidelines and policies.
G. Administer equipment and technical resources; monitor machinery and facility to request maintenance work orders as required, to ensure efficient, effective and safe and ergonomic conditions in the area.
H. Implement, promote and maintain a safe and ergonomic work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents. Investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and manage risk and unsafe conditions into the area.
I. Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, Blitz, A3, RIEs).
J. Promote a work safe environment using 5S, JSA, NEAR MISS, STOP Tools and GEMBA WALKS.
K. Implement, coordinate and manage quality compliance following EQMS, ISO9000 standards and policies as established, driving a quality culture within the team.
Qualifications:
Education level required
Last year of Bachelors in Industrial Engineering, Administration degree studies or related fields required (Pending monograph, thesis, or graduation).
Preferred: Bachelors degree completed
Years and area of experience required
1 year of supervisory experience o 6 months to 1 year in similar positions or manufacturing coordination / lead manufacturing activities
Technical knowledge
Bilingual: English/Spanish.
Computer knowledge: MS Office
Preferred:
• Basic technical knowledge in the areas of safety, manufacturing processes, quality assurance, engineering, production/materials planning, maintenance needs and systems application.
• Basic knowledge of national and local safety and environmental standards, guidelines such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, MESH, EBE, OPA, CIF, ISO EMQS and/or applicable regional initiatives.
