What you'll do:
As a Production Quality Engineer, you will maintain and improve production-related metrics to visualize production and supplier performance. The role will perform statistical analyses, participate in manufacturing and continuous improvement projects, and develop data integration processes. You will be also collaborating with quality and other operational functions, supporting internal audits, and leading initiatives to enhance data accuracy and accessibility.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Maintain and improve production-related and quality metrics to visualize production and supplier performance (production yields, defect Paretos, cost of non-conformance and other failure statistics)
- Perform statistical analyses to support data-driven decision-making and problem prevention
- Propose projects and actions based on data, lead and support quality improvement and continuous improvement projects.
- Facilitate MRB (Material Review Board) for non-conforming material and CONC (cost of non-conformance) monitoring.
- Collaborate with other functions to ensure data integration aligns with production and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain data integration processes and systems to support production and supplier performance monitoring.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies for process improvement.
- Support internal audits and compliance activities by providing relevant data and analyses.
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to risk reduction measures through data analysis.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across production systems.
- Manage changes to data integration processes and systems in response to evolving production and quality requirements.
- Act as an administrator and/or key user for selected data systems or applications, responsible for maintaining and developing the system, supporting employees in using the system, and providing training and support as needed.
- Suggest and drive AI solutions into production analytics and processes
- Owner of the Quality Alert process (DSN etc.)
Qualifications:
- Applicable degree in electrical/automation or process engineering
- Experience in data analytics and data environment development
- Solid experience in production quality in the energy/electrical sector
- Strong expertise in creating and developing metrics on production performance, working with data applications and quality alert processes
Skills:
- Advanced cooperation and facilitation skills
- Skilled in Power BI
- Skilled in generative AI apps, Copilot 365, Copilot Studio, Agent Builder, PowerApps etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
- Fluency in English and preferably in Finnish
