Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Product Specialist (Commercial and Industrial Controls). This position is based at Eaton's Lachine facility and offers benefits from day one. Candidates must reside within 80km of Montréal, Québec, Canada.
What you'll do:
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Product Specialist is responsible for the marketing and engineering of our electrical control and power distribution products up to 600v to meet customer expectations. This includes responsibility for pricing, negotiations, order entry, customer order engineering, customer service, quality and manufacturing of panelboards, switchboards, and enclosed controls.

In this function you will:
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
- Maintain pricing authority for field sales and distributors.
- Develop strategies to support sales growth, customer service and price realization.
- Manage the administration of orders, production planning and scheduling including maintaining inventory availability for the assembly of products.
- Provide engineering drawings.
- Prepare quotations, complete AutoCAD drawings and provide application support for Eaton products.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications (Must have):
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering) from an accredited institution; OR College diploma (electrical engineering) or technologist certification from an accredited institution with minimum of two (2) years of experience in manufacturing electrical controls and/or power distribution products.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship both now and in the future.
- No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates currently residing within an 80km radius of Montréal, Québec, Canada will be considered.
- Fluency in French and English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners located inside and outside of Québec, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have):
- Experience providing/creating pricing details/quotations for customers.
- Experience with AutoCAD software or other CAD software.
