The Circuit Protection, and Controls (CPC) Division at Eaton Electrical reflects a long tradition of creating solutions that enhance electrical safety, reliability provide efficient power distribution solutions for data centre, renewables, commercial buildings, industry, mining and infrastructure. Our products include circuit protection, automation, switchboards systems, fuse gear and many other low voltage products.

We are looking to hire a Product Manager to grow the Power Switching Product portfolio within the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) market.

  • Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Develop and execute technical market strategies tailored to promote Eaton's moulded case circuit breaker, air circuit breaker and associated power switching products effectively, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
  • Define product specifications and requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and adherence to industry standards.
  • Proactively identify and source new product opportunities aligned with the business strategy, conducting market research and feasibility assessments including pricing and revenue modelling.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team, helping to communicate product benefits and technical details to customers.
  • Provide support for inventory management related to the moulded case circuit breaker, air circuit breaker and associated power switching device ranges, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely supply chain management.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally 3 to 5 years in product management within low voltage power switching devices such as moulded case, air circuit breakers, load break switches and automatic transfer switches.
  • Alternatively, candidates who have a strong technical aptitude and can demonstrate a solid understanding of product management principles, based on working directly in a supporting capacity to a product management team will also be considered.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical Trade Qualification
