Product Manager, Dry-type Distribution Transformers

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Product Manager, Dry-type Distribution Transformers. This role is located at our facility in El Paso, TX. Relocation offered to those who reside outside 50 miles of El Paso, TX; work sponsorship also offered.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

  • Provides knowledge of Dry-Type Transformer product applications and customer interface and develops and executes tactical and strategic plans to support the product line's goals.
  • Utilizes understanding of product technically to generate customer and technical presentations.
  • Involved in new product development, strategic direction planning for the product line, and implementation of new product launch plans.
  • Provide cross-functional coordination on product line programs to optimize customer service and market penetration.
  • Answers application questions, develops and implements growth plans, provides sales support, and conducts competition/market analysis to drive product development efforts.
  • Develop marketing collateral to educate and inform sales and customers of solutions Eaton Corporation has to offer relative to Dry-Type Transformers.
  • Supports and develops training programs and the development of marketing collateral to enhance market penetration goals.
  • Provides marketing leadership in the Product Roadmapping, ProLaunch, Innovation Summit, and Business System (including Bid Manager) development processes.
  • Completes the reporting of new Dry-Type Transformer product sales for monthly and quarterly needs
  • Must exhibit a willingness and ability to provide a leadership role within the department
  • Leads marketing, social media, and digital presence initiatives for Dry-Type Transformers.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum five (5) year's prior experience in product management, technical sales applications.
  • Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or marketing from an accredited institution
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Transformer applications experience

Skills:

  • Knowledge of the types of customers in the Dry-Type Transformer market dynamics.
  • Ability to leverage resources
  • Strong understanding of technical applications of Dry-Type Transformers.
  • Product application knowledge, customer interface, and the ability to develop and execute tactical and strategic plans to support the product line's goals are a key ingredient for this person.
  • Ability to generate customer and technical presentations, as well as product technical expertise
  • Interacts frequently with Field Sales, End Users, Consultants, Contractors, and Distributors.
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and innovatively to meet the overall goals of the Product Line.
  • Experience working with MAPICS, Vista
  • Excellent analytical skills. Able to obtain, analyze and use market and customer data to identify trends and areas of opportunity for Dry-Type Transformers.
