Eaton's Digital Employee Experience (DEX) team is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect - ServiceNow to join our team. This position is a hybrid work model and can be based at any US Eaton location.

The Principal Solutions Architect will provide strategic guidance and design architectures for the DEX team, emphasizing emerging technologies like Generative and Agentic AI. This role is a senior-level individual contributor role that carries significant responsibility and influence in functional leadership. The Principal Solutions Architect with collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that strategic initiatives align with ServiceNow architecture principles and are focused on delivering business outcomes.

• Provide strategic direction and architectural leadership for ServiceNow implementations.
• Act as a technical lead in ServiceNow engagements, providing thought leadership and best practices.
• Ability to assess, prototype, and infuse generative and agentic AI technologies to transform ITSM processes and IT service.
• Create high-level designs and specifications for ServiceNow applications, ensuring they are reusable, reliable, and adaptive while working in an Agile methodology.
• Lead and mentor a team of Technical Architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Work closely with project managers, business analysts, solution architects, and developers to ensure seamless delivery from initial design to implementation.
• Influence customer objectives, define vision and value, and present technical solutions to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum eight (8) years' experience in IT roles of increasing responsibility
• Minimum five (5) years ServiceNow consulting experience, with a history of leading large-scale, complex implementations
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
• No relocation is offered for this position. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of a US Eaton location to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree from an accredited institution
• ServiceNow Certified Administrator (CSA)
• ITSM Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM)
• Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Two additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CIS in CSM, HR, SecOps)

• Proven experience with ServiceNow's NowAssist technologies and prompt engineering
• Strong presentation skills, ability to lead workshops, and experience in partnering with senior leaders
• Create a sense of urgency around meeting customer needs, fostering a customer-focused environment.
• Exemplify collaborative leadership and build a culture of teamwork across organizational boundaries.
• Communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences, demonstrating candor and openness.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $141000.03 - $206800.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
