Eaton's Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division is currently seeking a PMO Leader. This division designs, manufactures, and services Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, batteries, and electronic-based products to ensure power reliability in the most demanding applications. The PMO Leader oversees the program management function, encompassing portfolio and project management, with a team of 10 direct reports. Responsibilities include developing and implementing standard work practices in accordance with Eaton Business Processes, setting and reporting on project metrics, and managing all New Product Development, runner programs, and VAVE programs. This role also coordinates with engineering management to ensure appropriate resource allocation to projects and supervises all project managers within the division. This position is a hybrid office (3x2) role but must reside within 50 miles of our Raleigh, NC facility. Relocation assistance is offered within the United States.

Essential Functions:
- Oversee 10 program managers across 5 different product lines (business units) and multiple locations to deliver New Product launches and product redesigns within all scope, schedule and budget commitments. This includes cross-functional coordination of Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations team members for optimized schedules, communication and program efficiency.
- Apply state of the art Project and Portfolio Management practices and tools (project planning, execution & tracking, project portfolio management, resource planning and waterlining).
- Lead major project reporting sessions (Projects and Peer Reviews, quarterly divisional NPI reviews hosted at design centers and attended by CPS Division executive staff, etc.)
- Oversee facilitation and administration of monthly product portfolio, program review and stage-gate meetings with the Division senior leadership team in each of the five business units.
- Ownership of the stage-gate product development process, PROLaunch, including training at multiple sites, continuous improvement of requirements, etc...
- Resource planning for product roadmaps, water-lining and product portfolio management.
- Drive standard work and processes across the division PMO function and interactions with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales
- Oversight of ProPM program management database for CPS used for all program status updates, resource planning and upward reporting.
- Heavily influences Program Management processes, systems, corporate cadence and mentors other individuals in the Eaton enterprise of program managers.
- Communicate effectively and work closely with all levels of the organization, especially senior leadership to understand business priorities, processes, strategic objectives, and time/cost constraints.
- Capture and communicate lessons learned from current / past projects.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution
- Minimum seven (7) years' engineering management or program management experience
- Minimum seven (7) years' experience working in either a manufacturing, industrial, or electrical industry position
- Minimum five (5) years' experience managing a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent).
- Experience working on projects with high-power electrical equipment.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects.
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Experience with safe agile methodologies.
