What you'll do:

This Plant Manager position is responsible for the overall leadership, management and P&L of the aerospace manufacturing plant in Gilching and will be also part as Managing Director of the leadership board of Eaton Germany GmbH. Overall responsibility for leading plant teams in achieving production schedule, product quality, product cost and employee safety goals. Provides leadership to all functional and service groups to meet customer requirements. Drives performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals. Leverages resources and motivates personnel to create high performance culture.

• Manages and directs all operations activities to ensure completion of customer requirements.
• Leadership of the customs and export team
• Responsible as Managing Director of the Eaton Germany GmbH for the German Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA)
• Provides for prudent investment into training and development, capital equipment and technology development to assure organizational, manufacturing, product and market leadership
• Assures policies, procedures, and other documentation are established to provide for consistent and professional operation of all organizational functions
• Leads product design organization through new product introduction phase to ensure customer product development and manufacturing delivery times are met
• Assures that Environmental, Health, and Safety issues are addressed considering local regulations, Eaton policy, and good corporate citizenship
• Develops and maintains innovative and effective cost reduction programs throughout operations
• Evaluates operational performance of the team in order to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, job transfers, dismissals, commendations, etc.
• Develops budgets and resource plans, and monitors performance, to achieve product delivery and financial requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, additional MBA preferred.
• Multiple years of related professional and Supervisory/Managerial experience
• EU citizenship and belonging to NATO country is required
• Knowledge of EU- German-and US export control law
• Ability to direct and lead cross-functional process improvement teams.
• Through knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic
• Detailed Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving
• Strong leadership, motivational and interpersonal skills
• Fluent German and English skills
