Eaton's Mobility Group, Commercial Vehicles is hiring a Plant Manager in Reynosa, MX. Relocation is offered for this position within the country. This position requires 10% travel.

What you'll do:

Primary Function:

Eaton's eMoblity Group is currently seeking a Plant Manager to join the team based at our Reynosa, MX manufacturing plant and will report directly to the Commercial Vehicle Vice President of Operations. Relocation assistance within hiring country is offered. The Reynosa site has 350+ dedicated employees across 2 shifts.

As a member of the executive leadership team at Eaton, our Plant Managers are responsible for driving strategic and operational leadership at our sites. You will drive profit and loss, growth strategy and organizational direction to meet and exceed the short and long-term business goals. Essential functions:
• Manage both operational leadership team and functional staff including Quality, Finance, Continuous Improvement, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Engineering and Maintenance.
• Act with analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive results within tight deadlines with changing priorities.
• Utilize Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing tools to lead cost improvement analysis and implement actionable, measurable plans.
• Champion a workplace focused on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to drive a zero-incident culture.
• Work collaboratively to end cost improvement analysis and implement actions.
• Foster a culture of early detection and escalations across the site to reduce cost, drive efficiency and ensure compliance.
• Partner with Human Resources to drive a talent management strategy, developing a capable team leader to build a strong succession plan within and outside your organization.

Qualifications:

Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum ten (10) years' progressive professional experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in roles focused on Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, OPEX and/or related support functions in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Minimum five (5) years' leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in English and Spanish
• Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Automotive Industry
• Master's Degree in Business (MBA)

Technical Skills
• Proficient with Lean Manufacturing tools and standards; as well as Safety/Environmental compliance
• Experiences leading Kaizen events
• Experience with IATF, ISO, TS compliance
• Proficient with data/financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure
• Manufacturing experience (machining, assembly, automation)

• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written with ability to effectively communicate to internal/external customers and executive leadership
• Demonstrated strong problem solving skills

• Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure analysis, wage and salary
