Picker Packer - 1st Shift

Eaton's IS Filtration division is currently seeking a Picker Packer - 1st Shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour. The hours for first shift are as follows; 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

• Build shipping packages
• Label packages with attention to detail regarding product type and quantity
• Inspect finished product for quality per standard work instructions
• Put filtration products in appropriate packaging for shipment
• Palletize packaging per standard work instructions
• Perform above work on one or more lines

• Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards
• Complying with all work and process instructions
• Identifying improvement opportunities
• Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job
• Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.
• Completing any initial or recurring training issued by the site or Eaton

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Reside within a 50-mile radius of Williamsport, MD
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
  • Candidates who are active duty military members are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Forklift certified
• Manufacturing experience
• Basic computer and software skills
