Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Panelboard MI Coordinator. The working days for this role are Monday-Friday and hours are 7:45am-4:45pm.

The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

The Panelboard MI Coordinator will perform a wide variety of assignments including following Panelboard paperwork (MIs) from delivery to production through shipped status.

In this function:

  • Daily report of MIs in production to include MIs delivered, in production, shipped previous day, items returned to planning team, on turnback; effectively maintaining constant visible volume of MIs with production team.
  • Daily deliver paperwork (MIs) to production as necessary to align with SIOP Capacity across 1A2A, PRL3, PRL4 production lines based on active volume already in production.
  • Update Master Schedule on all MIs in production, providing specific details including, location of MI, obstacles preventing movement, ETA on when item will ship.
  • Provide Planning team a list of material issues in production daily, return MIs with those issues to OES. p
  • Collect and scan all completed Ship Short forms and file in Ship Short Process folder.
  • Check the production MIs for White Status ahead of shipping, consisting of open change notices, MFG credit holds, DNSB4, duplicate orders for those items to clear shipping with no delays.
  • Update details to CERs for orders they need to provide answers to customers, same day.
  • Reschedule Vista dates to maintain expected ship dates once items are in production, maintaining good vista dates for our customers having no items in production with Vista outdated.
  • Manage MI sleeves are in correct color for overdue, elevation or normal order.
  • Responsible for all MIs delivered to production through shipped status to prevent missing, duplicate, and invoicing error MIs.
  • Monitor MIs on turnback and quality hold for assistance with resolutions, share with correct team for actions needed.
  • Escalate to planner items in production longer than 7 workdays to help resolve obstacles.
  • Deliver Ship Short Shippers to Production team.
  • Participate in department tier meetings as well as production meetings to discuss the status of daily metrics, material availability and production scheduling.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required):

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • 1 year of experience in data entry, office administration or related.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Sumter facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the customer service function with a focus on manufacturing and product knowledge.
  • Organized and detail oriented.

Skills:

  • Proficient with computers and programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
  • Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, analyze complex problems and implement solutions.
  • Ability to convey the appropriate sense of urgency throughout other plant functions to support unique or unusual customer needs.
  • Proactively integrate Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing concepts, as they specifically relate to Business Process Improvements, to daily tasks.
  • This position requires a high level of responsiveness and proactive problem solving to reinforce enterprise-wide goal of providing world-class customer satisfaction.
