What you'll do:
This position is responsible for the set up and operation of various machines to produce quality parts based on pre-determined specifications.
- Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece or setup requirements
- Sets up, starts, and observes machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and troubleshoots or adjusts machine controls as required
- Operates a variety of machines as directed by supervisor or lead
- Completes changeovers and material feed-through
- Completes first piece inspections and machine guarding checklists
- Uses gauges and calipers to inspect and verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
- Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applications must be US persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a US person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
Position Criteria:
- Knowledge of various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.
