Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Operator I (2nd). The hourly rate for this position is $20.42 + 5% shift differential per hour. What you'll do:
The Operator I's role is responsible for operating and monitoring manually fed punch press equipment within the Fabrication department and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
- Perform job duties in a manner that follows Eaton Quality standards and systems
- Fabricate parts according to drawings, routings, and work instructions to determine necessary parts and fixtures and obtain material from stock areas
- Set and adjust fabrication materials and equipment and perform quality checks using measuring equipment and or templates
- Cross-train in other areas of the department and train new- hire operators on operating presses
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas using Eaton's 5S procedures
- Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand throughout working shift and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- Must not be on a written or a final written warning (Internal Only)
- Employees can apply and be awarded a new role but must have a minimum of 6 months service time in their current role before moving to the new role. Exceptions may be made based on business needs. (Internal Only)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a press
- Experience working with precision-measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, tape measures)
- Experience with Mapics and Matrix computer systems
- Ability to interpret drawings and/or blueprints
- Ability to trouble shoot operations equipment
