Eaton's Electrical sector is currently hiring a Operations Project Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at our Perth, Canada facility and offers benefits from Day 1.
What you'll do:
As our project coordinator, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure all of the above projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project's organization and timeline. Your responsibilities will be include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.
In this role you will:
- Building and improving our SCM processes by working with SCM-SIOP leader and utilizing the tools that will support the planners' daily operations.
- Improving inventory management, reducing our lead time, and streamlining functions in planning.
- Developing new vendors in the Ottawa/Montreal area, to reduce lead times and drive turnaround times.
- Being heavily involved at the outset of Industry 4.0 projects and introducing significant automated equipment and robotics technology to improve safety, quality and production.
- Being at the forefront of planning for a Building Expansion project to support growth and sustainability. volumes, warehouse space receiving, shipping and returns).
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a related field from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Three (3) years of experience working with complex and large projects in the industry, either in project management, or engineering
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid technical background, with understanding or direct experience in I4.0 technology
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
