Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Operations Manager in Cleveland, TN. Relocation assistance is available for candidates that live outside 50 miles of the Cleveland, TN facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $175,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
The Operations Manager will plan, organize, staff, direct and control the overall value stream operation to optimize productivity, labor targets, quality and customer service.

- Develop and monitor departmental and individual goals, objectives and growth to improve plant performance
- Plan, develop and install new Industry 4.0 technology and concepts for improvement of our High 5 metrics.
- Implement and/or support all programs that will achieve a prescribed productivity improvement.
Problem Solving and Decision Making:
- Utilize analytical skills for problem solving and decision making.
Project Coordination and Improvement:
- Coordinate all projects and production programs in support of divisional and plant objectives. Drive improvement efforts using tools such as Eaton Lean Systems and Continuous Improvement Framework.
Personnel Management:
- Plan, select, appraise and develop personnel in support of the plant objectives and in line with corporate processes and expectations
Communication:
- Clearly communicate the progress of major plant activities to the Plant Manager and Staff.
Safety and Compliance:
- Maintain a safe work environment by providing a facility, manufacturing methods, tools and equipment that comply to state and federal regulations and Eaton's MESH requirements
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years experience managing people and/or project teams
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited institution; Masters degree from an accredited institution
