We are looking for a National Sales Manager to drive growth and increase market share for PDSS within the Utilities segment within Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). The key product range includes indoor and outdoor switchgear, voltage regulators, surge arresters, load break switches, power correction, and energy automation software products and solutions.

This is a pivotal role designed to galvanise a team of dedicated Business Development Managers to identify and harness value for prospective clients within Utilities and Renewables segment.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth within Utilities and Renewables.
  • Support the team to identify and prospect new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Drive accountability with BDMs to demonstrate the expected Eaton behaviours to deliver on their sales and margin targets.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensure mutually beneficial agreements that align with Eaton's company objectives.
  • Ensure the maintenance and review of accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and pipeline management using Salesforce.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at potential customer organisations and step in to support the team when required.
  • Support the team in presenting proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of prospective customers.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of sales and business development experience in the electrical industry working with power distribution ideally in Utilities or Renewables.
  • Knowledge and experience in power distribution solutions and services - indoor and outdoor switchgear, voltage regulators, surge arresters, load break switches, power correction and automation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a team of sales and business development managers.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving complex bids, RFP and RFQ's.
