Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Mexico IT Business Relationship Manager.

What you'll do:

Job Summary

  • Is the primary point of contact for IT services and strategic projects in Mexico woring in partnership with other BRMs in Mobility, Aerospace and Elecrical
  • Identifies opportunities, projects, builds consensus across customer base and IT, develops business cases to secure funding
  • Ensures scope of projects are well-defined for transition to delivery Value Chains
  • Ensure all stakeholders are engaged, projects are completed and return on investment is realized
  • Reviews escalated issues for scope and clarity, vettting, documenting and routing through the appropriate support mechanisms
  • Delivery assurance of medium and large-sized initiatives leveraging the Value Chains
  • Ensure effective level of support for existing systems/processes
  • Ensure significant projects are delivered effectively and reliably to meet the strategic business objectives, acting as DGC members
  • Ensure all stakeholders are engaged, projects are completed and return on investment is realized
  • Directionally aligned to business in Mexico
  • Demonstrates Financial Acumen through CAR preparation, budget management and profit planning
  • Perform vendor management and contract, negotiations and reviews

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure IT alignment with customer strategy - customer advocate
  • Ensure customer alignment with IT strategy and IT guiding principles
  • Eliminate projects that are not aligned with the IT strategy, have weak business benefits or are duplicate solutions to existing enterprise software portfolio
  • Ensure solutions aligned with and supports architecture standards. Partner with architecture team if no standard exists
  • Responsible to customer for service provider success
  • Trusted advisor and introduce innovation
  • BOC - influence IT structures that support our customers - Value Chains, development, production support
  • #Li-SL4

Qualifications:

Education level required

  • Degree from an accredited institution

Years and area of experience required

  • 10 years of IT Application or Project Management experience

Technical knowledge

  • Advanced understanding of some of Eaton key applications or services
  • Should be a SME in one or more technologies
  • Lean experience preferred.
  • Industry experience/awareness preferred

Skills:

  • Communication
  • Ability to storytell
  • Fluent in Spanish
