Mechanical Engineer - Engineering & Technology Early Talent Leadership Development Program

Eaton's Engineering & Technology Early Talent Leadership Development Program offers a unique opportunity to kick-start your international career. Through rotational assignments across various locations and business areas, you will develop a broad skill set and prepare for future leadership roles.

The program will start with the role of a Mechanical Engineer in Cwmbran, UK, where you will join the Life and Safety division of Eaton's Fire and Intrusion business working on products such as fire panels, smoke detectors, sounders, beacons, call points. In this role, you will be a part of the mechanical engineering team working on the design and development of next generation fire panels. You will be largely involved in the new product introduction and design for manufacturing processes.

• Currently possesses, or will have obtained a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering with a graduation date no later than August 2025 (A master's degree in these fields is also preferred)
• Work or internship experience is a plus (up to 3 years of experience)

• Understanding of 3D CAD modelling, ideally in Solidworks
• Preferably: at least some experience in project management
• Preferably: financial awareness - design to cost, non-recurring costs
• Effective communication
