Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Materials Assistant.

The hours for this role are 7:00am-3:30pm

The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Provide needed support in Packaging, Shipping, Receiving and Stockroom departments as workload dictates. Works closely with Materials Supervisor to maximize through put in all functions

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Rotate within all functions of the materials department as workload requires.

• Backup Packaging, Shipping, Receiving and Stockroom personnel as directed by Materials Supervisor
• Package process parts for shipment to vendors
• Maintain accurate computerized records of all material transactions
• Generate Shipping documents for daily shipments such as Ship Confirms, DD250's and Customs paperwork.
• Perform cycle counting as required.
• Assist in other areas when available as required.
• This position may require frequent overtime
• Perform normal housekeeping duties to keep parts area clean
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution
• Reside within 50 miles of location (no relocation benefit)
• US person within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a US person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
• Minimum one year experience in Supply Chain (i.e., Stock, Material Handling)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum one year work experience as a Materials Assistant in a manufacturing environment

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
• Minimum high school diploma/GED
• PC experience (MS Office, ERP)
• MFGPro
• Invoicing experience a plus
