Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Material Handler II- 2nd Shift at our El Paso, TX facility. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00AM until 3:45PM. The rate for this position is $15.60 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Material Handler will provide manufacturing expertise and support in the Storeroom and production area including, but not limited to, allocation of materials, planning, scheduling, verifying, receiving, and shipping with the overall goal of timely order fulfillment and adherence to Eaton's quality standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and Critical Outputs:

Essential Functions:
• You will be responsible for picking multiple orders for production assembly
• Resolve warehouse challenges with attention to detail
• Responsible for performing accurate inventory transactions
• Comply with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner. Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals
• Support assigned work-area clean and organized per 5S standards.
• Closely follow established procedures for completing assigned function and perform special assignments and/or projects as assigned.
• Executing warehouse transactions through AS400 and use various complex business systems
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification through workplace training

Qualifications:

Education and Minimum Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months manufacturing, distribution, or military experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
