Eaton Mission Systems Division in Davenport, Iowa is seeking a Material Control Analyst to be a part of developing and deploying a plan for the Davenport facility to achieve turns goals by coordinating with master scheduler, planners, buyers, and manufacturing. In addition, they will develop stocking strategies & policies to effectively optimize inventory while satisfying customer demand. This position is located in Davenport, IA.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year.

• Maintain item master level records for all parts
• Assist operations by updating and maintaining bills of material
• Assist operations/supply chain by creating and maintaining routing resources
• Work with configuration management to ensure proper release of new parts
• Create new manufacturing part numbers as requested
• Review and seek approval for all items that would require safety stock, Kanban, or min/max as a check and balance with Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
• Generate and approve daily cycle counts
• Collaborate with Finance on annual cycle count efforts
• Run reports and audits of item master data, inventory, MRP exceptions, routings, etc.
• Assist with ABCD & RRS (runner, repeater & stranger) analysis and system updates
• Drive regular review of safety stock, shrink rates, and other planning parameters in collaboration with the IPTs
• Perform ERP system troubleshooting including resolving stuck transactions, errors, etc.
• Actively promote and enforce adherence to standard processes and procedures
• Understand inventory valuation and forecasting models
• Identify inventory drivers in planning, procurement, manufacturing, quality etc.
• Assist in creating inventory strategies driven by customer contract or market
• As required, work with the IT department to develop reports or functional system changes to enhance the monitoring of items in the systems and reporting and analysis of inventory.
• Performs all operations according to prescribed safety principles
• Identify and effect change to reduce risks of harm and minimize waste and resources used
• Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum two (2) years of experience using ERP Systems in a manufacturing environment
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 70 miles of the Davenport, IA facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years MRP experience
• Experience leading a project team
• APICS - Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Vlookups, logical formulas, etc.

• Analytical - Advanced use and/or application of basic technical principles, concepts and practices; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data.

• Problem Solving - Works on problems with a large scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained; Participates in alternative solution identification; Works well within group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

• Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings.

• Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
