What you'll do:
Primary Function
• Provide well-researched analysis and actionable intelligence to determine growth opportunities,
market positioning, and strategic business issues.
• Support the various Eaton Business' Strategic Plan and Profit plan with market insights, TAM
Estimation, End Market Growth Forecast, Product Market Competitor Metrics, market size by
segment, region, and other market and business analysis requirements).
• Gather and evaluate relevant market and competitor information to review market position,
determine threats, benchmark competitor marketing activities and regularly advise of activities
- acquisitions, marketing efforts, press releases, etc.
• Partner and support the business leaders in their decision-making process by providing wellresearched analysis and actionable intelligence that would address the key business challenges.

• Lead/ co-lead analysis presentation calls to internal customers to discuss research findings,
conclusions and specifically presenting recommendations for business to take actions on.
• Conduct studies to determine sales trends, market share, and operating profit with the intention
to identify opportunities to grow sales, strengthen market share, and increase profitability.
• Comfortable in discussions with Sr. executives in answering questions as well as counterquestioning them.
Qualifications:
Preferred Technical Degree/ Diploma with experience in Market Research and Consulting. For
less than 3 years of experience, Engineering + MBA is preferred
Skills
Primary and secondary research experience
Well-read on a wide variety of subjects and should have the ability to interpret global macroeconomic factors which impact economics, politics and business environment in general.
Experience with market trends, customer expectations and economic analysis as provided by
internal and external data sources
Able to articulate insights in a concise way, both written and verbal.
Ability to translate complex reports and analyses into simple 'business speak' and present
results to internal customers up to the SLT level.
Ability to connect the dots and generate insights, prioritize business questions and recommendations.
