Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Tech III - 1st Shift (MCC Final) to join our team in Fayetteville, NC!
Shift hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.
The hourly rate for this position is $17.85 per hour.

What you'll do:
The Manufacturing Tech III plans and performs a wide variety of difficult electrical / electronic assembly and alignment of complex units with a large number of parts to exacting tolerances. Assemble parts into sub-assemblies into units or systems. Perform troubleshooting or rework. Assist engineering personnel in modification, parts substitution and repair of units or systems. Work from complex schematics, drawings, final assembly blueprints and / or verbal and written instructions with a minimum of supervision. May guide the work of less-skilled assemblers in routine operations or help solving complex problems.

In this function, you will:
- Work to oral and/ or written instructions from Supervisor, drawings, manufacturing information sheets, wiring /schematic s and inspection reports.
- Stage necessary component parts / material in a manner which allows for the smooth flow of order activities through the assembly / manufacturing process.
- Utilize manufacturing information, determine necessary parts, notify responsible parties of any shortages. Damaged / incorrect components are identified.
- Notify Supervisor or designated party of inability to maintain established schedules due to material shortages, incomplete information, and / or damaged material.
- Wire transformers, metering sections, multiple arrangements of door-mounted lights, switches, relays, metering / measuring devices, panel boards, resistors, ground-fault devices and other various fixed-mounted components / systems.
- Install and connect wire / cable to components in all types of structure mounted single / multi-speed starters, including wiring connections to associated resistors, auto transformers and / or other fixed mounted components.
- Make inter-connections between structures and cells.
- Make wiring and component additions, changes or corrections per drawings or established revision / change procedures. Replace or repair faulty components.

- High school diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) from an accredited institution.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
