What you'll do:
- Deploying Eaton Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF): This includes visual controls, process standardization, leader standard work, Gemba walks, manning strategy, daily accountability, process checks, and continuous improvement for everyone.
- Developing ELSS/CI Tool Champions and Experts: Providing training and consulting support to develop local champions and experts in ELSS/CI tools.
- Implementing and Integrating Best Practices: Driving the implementation of identified Eaton best practices and ensuring their integration internally.
- Achieving ELSS Objectives: Responsible for attaining ELSS Assessment and ELSS Cost Savings objectives, and supporting annual self-assessments to identify gaps and drive improvement plans.
- Coordinating and Mentoring VSMs: Mentoring Value Stream Managers (VSMs) across plants to identify strategies for reducing non-value-added activities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant departments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and Lean, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence.
- Excellent command of English both spoken and written.
- Knowledge in transformer manufacturing is a plus.
Skills:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques - i.e. value stream mapping, one piece flow, etc.
- Understanding of problem solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. thought maps, 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Gage R & R, control charts, Pareto charts, etc.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma concepts and tools as they relate to minimizing process / product variability - i.e. regression analysis, hypothesis testing, etc.
