Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Manager, FP&A. This position is Hybrid and must be located at one of the following locations: Beachwood, OH, Moon Township, PA , Glenolden, PA, Jackson, MI, Southfield, MI

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

Job Summary
Reporting to the VP - FP&A, the primary function of this role is to lead and support analysis in actuals, forecasts, strategic planning and profit planning for Corporate, which includes the roll up of the Electrical and Industrial Sectors as well and Corporate/functional activities. This role will be also be critical to finance support and partnership around key productivity actions and projects. This role will communicate operating results, performance measures and ad hoc analysis to the broader FP&A team and leadership. The role will provide forward-looking insights and analytics that drive management decisions, actions and improve operational and financial performance. This role will play a crucial role in driving financial performance, providing insightful analysis, and supporting key business decisions. The FP&A Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, senior management, and executives to develop financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
The individual in this role supports the Corporate FP&A team, with a focus on Eaton's productivity and internal synergy projects.

• Develop, coordinate and drive Corporate and initiative level internal profit plans, strategic plans, monthly forecasts, operating reviews, board and earnings prep for the sector.
• Advise and counsel FP&A team and finance functional partners on financial implications of operating strategies, cost control actions and decisions that help hold business segments and functions accountable to commitments.
• Lead from a thoughtful financial perspective as a core member of the Corporate FP&A team.
• Business partner with cross functional teams including investor relations, economics, SCM finance team and finance transformation to develop a broad understanding of the Corporate and Sector initiatives and what is happening operationally behind the numbers reported.
• Lead reporting efforts around productivity and synergy projects.
• Partner with Global Financial Accounting to ensure productivity and synergy projects are appropriately reviewed and approved, and meet internal policy and US GAAP requirements.
• Ability to help break down the complex into a manageable story to the senior leadership team for actuals and forecast commentary.
• Manage, analyze, evaluate and interpret project savings forecasts and results. Inform management of results and recommend corrective actions to address unfavorable variances. Review, analyze and evaluate financial data and information for accuracy, consistency and transparency.
• Perform special analyses to support strategic business decision making.
• Lead ad hoc projects as required including appropriate ERP implementations and system upgrades, business development initiatives such as Optimus implementation for industrial sector, broad usage of Power BI, etc.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' of progressive accounting or finance experience with specific focus in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of the following locations will be considered: Beachwood, OH, Moon Township, PA , Glenolden, PA, Jackson, MI, Southfield, MI. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Skills:
A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
Passion for change and process improvement
Strong Executive management skills in with the Sector FP&A teams, Functional Finance Teams, and partnering executives
Ability to operate across, and influence within, a complex matrixed global organizational structure
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in financial planning and analysis
