Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Management Assistant.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

A. Provides a wide variety of advanced administrative support to plant manager.

B. Also, in various activities which will contribute to the plant goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A. Schedules and organizes activities such as meetings, conferences, travel, and special events for plant manager.

B. Prepares correspondence, written proposals, and creates presentations.

C. Organizes and takes minutes for meetings, round tables, and plant wide meetings.

D. Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information including plant manager filing systems.

E. Prepare complex reports and correspondence representing a higher degree of problem solving and thinking.

F. Develop action plans for completion of assigned projects of limited scope and complexity.

G. Organizes agenda and services for plant visits.

H. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working area. Adhere to Eaton's 5's workplace organization program.

I. Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control, and administer risk and danger in own area.

J. Fleet management, including buying, exchanging, and selling vehicles.

Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE.

A. Bachelor's degree

B. 2 years' experience in an environment supporting plant staff.

C. Advanced knowledge Microsoft Office programs including Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.

D. English - language capability, speaking, reading & writing required.

E. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be detail oriented.

F. Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound judgments under minimum supervision.

G. Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking.

H. Able to keep a positive, professional demeanor in an environment where you will experience interruptions and changing demands.

I. Ability to handle discreet personal, sensitive, and confidential information and documentation.

Skills:

A. Required working knowledge and experience with computers, preferably with Microsoft Office applications.

B. Ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills required.

C. Must be able to demonstrate good service attitude.

D. Must be able to work on all shifts as required.

E. Demonstrated ability to work with little direction, and effectively operate in a team-oriented environment required.

F. Proactive & results driven.

G. Participate actively in Eaton's initiatives such as community involvement, diversity, and wellness.
