The hourly rate for this position is $32.50 per hour. The core hours for this shift are Monday-Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

What you'll do:
Primary Functions:
The Maintenance Technician III, with minimal supervision, will perform expert level mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, schematics, and sketches. The technician will also consult with equipment manufacturer and/or engineering personnel when reference materials do not exist.
Essential Functions:
• Perform expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including observing devices in operation, locating root causes of problems, dismantling devices, examining parts, adjusting functional parts, repairing, or replacing defective parts, testing devices, and reconditioning and repairing machine tools.
• Construct and modify physical facilities to accommodate changes or improvements.
• Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary, and evaluate alternatives to improve cost and reliability of equipment.
• Independently perform maintenance according to industry standards.
• Manage preventative maintenance procedures.
• Set up and operate multiple machining operations, including lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools, and perform welding tasks as needed.
• Lead, drive, and participate in Continuous Improvement activities, using CI tools and methodology, and comply with 5S+ and housekeeping standards.
• Assist other technicians and lead project teams, performing expert functions as part of training and development.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems to resolve software, hardware, and configuration problems.
• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data, observe trends, and make recommendations to improve equipment reliability.
• Complete and conduct on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development.
• Perform electrical power work in accordance with MESH 8.0 LOTO procedures, including running wire and cable, installing fixtures, and performing testing and diagnostics.
• Follow all safety-related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines, maintaining situational awareness and identifying unsafe behaviors and conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
• Must have an Associate's degree with a Technical focus and a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience, or a minimum of 7 years of related industry experience without a degree.
• Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Experience in vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Must be proficient in electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems with the ability to analyze problems, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with metalworking and welding machines.
• Proven ability to operate machines with multiple settings or specifications.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and drawings.

• Ability to work specific shift hours and flexibility to work overtime as required.
• Proficiency in using precision gauging instruments.
• Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision and collaborate with other team members.
• Comprehension and adherence to technical standards and maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of operating lift trucks, material handling equipment, man lifts, and hand tools.
• Comfortable working with lubricants and solvents daily.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Valid driver's license, as travel to our secondary facility will be required.
