Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. This position will located at our Bethel, CT facility.
The Maintenance Supervisor will direct and coordinate the activities of maintenance workers engaged in repair, installation of machines, tools and equipment, outside contractors, and the maintenance of building grounds and the utility systems of our industrial manufacturing plant. Additionally, and on the same responsibility level, the person will participate in implementing cost savings initiatives for equipment and utilities, and execute the organizational strategic plan consistent with established industry standards, government regulations and customer requirements.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you'll do:
• Be responsible for maintenance operations throughout the facility.
• Evaluate quality and quantity of work performed by the members of the facilities department.
• Supervise outside contractors.
• Interface with all department leaders regarding levels of maintenance.
• Budget and control departmental expenditures.
• Establish maintenance procedures to be used by maintenance department personnel.
• Supervise plant security devices.
• Coordinate the functions of the hazardous and non-hazardous waste throughout the facility.
• Ensure a safe operational environment throughout the facility.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement events as needed.
• Compose Capital and Expense Appropriation Requests for acquisition of equipment to support the plant.
• Ensure facilities team is trained in proper safe work practices.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years maintenance/facilities experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 60-mile radius of Bethel, CT will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Electrical, plumbing and/or HVAC license.
Skills:
• Possess a working knowledge of federal, state and local building codes in all facility-related issues.
• Detailed understanding of general industrial maintenance concepts.
• Knowledge of industry OSHA and other regulated programs.
