Eaton's GEIS division is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift. This role is onsite at our Amarillo, TX facility. Relocation is not provided for this opportunity. 3rd Shift Hours: Sunday - Thursday 10PM to 6:30AM.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
The primary function of this role is to lead and support maintenance team on 3rd shift, including electrical, mechanical, utility and facilities maintenance. As our business expands, this position would represent the operational side of the business through its growth. With responsibility to oversee our maintenance department, you are gaining experience to move into increasingly dynamic and strategic roles within Eaton.
In this role you will:
- Lead a team of Maintenance Technicians to organize, plan and monitor the repair, replacement, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of foundry and machining related equipment.
- Organize and support maintenance department, in the maintenance and repairs of various types of production equipment, facility maintenance, critical spares, upgrades and projects including managing outside contractors, and quoting.
- Maintain and manage preventative maintenance plans for equipment and facilities activities.
- Manage Capital and expense projects for equipment upgrades and improvements.
- Plan and direct scheduled or unplanned maintenance activities and establish maintenance priorities in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
- Review and analyze maintenance metrics and operational reports to determine causes of equipment failure and reliability.
- Establish and maintain staffing and required training/development to ensure support of the operations.
- Ensure compliance and maintain local plant policies and practice requirements to all mandatory environmental and safety regulations.
- Actively participate in lean/5S/continuous improvement activities related to the facility as needed.
- Work cross functionally to support customers and assure equipment uptime.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience.
- No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Amarillo, TX to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering
- Prior maintenance and leading maintenance technicians experience
- Experience is maintenance reliability programs (vibration, ultrasonic, IR, lubrication)
- Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or Preventative Maintenance Development (PMD) experience
- Ability to track maintenance metrics (downtime, MTTR, MTBR)
Skills:
Position Criteria:
- Ability to stand and/or walk for 8-10 hours and to lift 50 pounds
- Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data
- Ability to follow all safety regulations associated
- Understand and utilize the procedures related to lockout/tagout, confined spaces, and fall protection
- Ability to work around molten metal and in a production environment that is hot and subject to unexpected swings of overtime (ability to flex personal schedule to cover tasks on other shifts)
- Ability to perform basic computer functions: use SAP, eSafety, MESH Prism, CMMS
