Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic A -3rd shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $24.50 per hour.

What you'll do:
Job Summary
Perform work involving maintenance skills to install, repair, and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, or structure of the facility.
Job Responsibilities
• Identity the cause and complete the repair of unexpected breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot electrical/electronic, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and building components on industrial equipment plant wide and have basic knowledge of PLC's and controls.

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Fabricate new and/or replacement metal parts for equipment.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or College Degree in related field of study preferred.
- 3 to 5 years years relevant, job-specific experience required.
Technical knowledge
• Be able to read & interpret part, machine, hydraulic, & electrical schematics.
• Proficient in using a multi-meter.
• Fundamentals of electricity, plumbing, pneumatic systems and hydraulics.
• Experience in the following: Electro-mechanical work, Variable frequency drives, welding, Pneumatic controls, Inventory management, Air Compressors, Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance and Conveyor systems.
• Understanding of servo motors, encoders, drives, PLC's and controls.
Skills:
• Must be able to prioritize assignments according to business needs.
• Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
