Maintenance Manager

Eaton's AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager. This position will be located at our Euclid, OH facility.

The Euclid facility is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace main engine fuel pumps and components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. Our location is roughly 460,000 sq ft, and includes the main operations, test facilities, materials lab, and plating areas across a multi-building campus.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of 18, coordinating, and supporting all maintenance needs for the campus and equipment, as well as the wastewater treatment operations supporting the manufacturing process. This position will interface directly with all levels of manufacturing and be accountable for the job functions listed below.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

• Establish the direction and focus of the maintenance and wastewater treatment personnel.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs for manufacturing/facility on both existing and new equipment per schedule.
• Support site in achieving EHS and 5S targets & objectives.
• Support MESH champions and objectives.
• Supervise outside contractors when necessary.
• Manage the spending within the monthly expense budget for maintenance and wastewater treatment activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting and manage prompt response to equipment downtime issues.
• Be responsible for overtime scheduling of the maintenance & wastewater teams.
• Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods, design and performance of equipment and processes.
• Manage the work performance of team members and provides powerful feedback.
• Drive safe practices daily.
• Take appropriate disciplinary actions when needed according to procedure.
• Manage the team in accordance with the collectively bargained agreement and being a steward of Eaton's culture initiatives.
• Complete other duties as they relate to the successful operation of the Euclid facility and its operations.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of two (2) years maintenance/facilities supervisory experience OR Associate's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of four (4) years maintenance/facilities supervisory experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Euclid, OH will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working within a unionized facility.
• Experience with the concept of preventative maintenance.

Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Demonstrated experience with safety programs.
• Understanding of lean fundamentals.
• Ability to demonstrate managerial courage (ex: managing varied interests representing potential conflict).
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and team building acumen.
