Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Equipment Operator. The core hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is 31.09 per hour.
What you'll do:
- Operate company equipment to lift, transport, position, dump, push or pull a variety of material, parts, or other items throughout the plant, grounds and local area as directed.
- Operates equipment such as forklift truck, dump truck, payloader, tractor, manlift, etc.
- Deliver and/or pickup supplies, material or parts; collect and transport rubbish, metal, scrap, lumber, etc., remove snow and ice; trim trees, load or unload vehicles, and transport into storage a variety of items as directed.
- Segregate a variety of scrap metals by type using magnet as necessary.
- Direct scrap vendors to appropriate location, load scrap trucks, Operate Tractor with trailer to move materials as required.; may maintain simple records.
- Exercise care in the operation and handling of equipment to avoid damage to equipment, building, etc. or injury to others.
- Perform such duties as grease and lubricate equipment, change various roof and ceiling filters as assigned, change and check oil, water and fuel supply; resupply as necessary.
- Repair plant roads and parking lots; tar roofs; pour concrete floors, walks, machine pads, etc. as directed.
- Perform all required duties to receive, handle, transport, and store waste materials including those designated as being hazardous.
- Refer to Material Safety Data Sheets, charts and written procedures as necessary to determine proper disposal and handling of various waste materials; wear prescribed safety gear when required.
- Detect and report user violations of waste disposal rules.
- Load, unload, operate and clean oven to burn excess paint from racking trees, etc. as prescribed or directed.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years of industrial equipment operation experience
- Current CDL-A License
- Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of LOCATION (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
