Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator (Night shift) for our Pinckneyville facility. The shift hours are 3:30 pm -12:00 am, Monday - Friday. Overtime may exceed these hours and can be mandatory at times. The rate for this position is $21.40 per hour, plus a $0.40/ hour shift differential. Please note that the salary information shown above is only a general guideline. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
- Safely run, monitor, and adjust one reticulator per the training guidelines.
- Throw off and stack material
- Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
- Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilizing Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection log
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders to determine specifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in die selection, setting of dies, and making adjustments
- Demonstrated knowledge of dies, press, feed system, and product characteristics
- Demonstrated proficiency in the identification of machine and product issues, root cause analysis and problem-solving, development, and implementation of corrective action
- Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools
- Possess forklift license and demonstrated ability to handle material with forklift
- Train others as necessary.

- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Pinckneyville, IL will be considered. (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation).
