We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai.
What you'll do:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems, design principles, and applicable codes. Responsibilities include designing, analyzing, and implementing LV electrical systems for industrial applications.
- Design and specify electrical systems for Commercial & Industrial projects including O&G for power distribution and control systems
- Analyze electrical load requirements, calculate voltage drop, and determine appropriate circuit protection to propose optimized LV solutions
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Close engagement with Consultants/PMCs for technical approvals.
- Troubleshoot electrical system problems and provide technical support to network of Panel Builders
- Stay up-to-date on latest electrical codes and standards
- Collaborate with End Users/Contractors & Consultants on project development and early engagement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical system design for industrial applications
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC other applicable electrical codes and standards
- Proficient in electrical design software
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
