Eaton's Power Quality division is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join our team. This position can be based in Richmond, VA or Santa Ana, CA.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91,500 - $134,200 a year.

As the Lead Financial Analyst, you will be part of the Finance team and will manage the process of gathering, analyzing and reporting on information used to communicate operating results, performance measures and ad hoc information via reports, presentations, emails, instructions and memos in a timely and accurate manner. This will ensure that the Plants and Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Leadership and support functions are receiving critical information needed to perform their jobs.

In this role you will:

Actively assist in the monthly actuals reporting & forecast processes for Data Center Power Distribution (DCPD) and provide high quality, timely, and accurate information for the leadership team and supporting functions.
Perform monthly analysis of P&L accounts. Analyze operational and financial data, investigate (and resolve) variances, identify business drivers, and evaluate their impact on planned objectives. Prepare meaningful variance analysis commentary for management.
Support the capital spend budget development and tracking process through collaboration with the project management team and assists in the collection and report out of key metrics against planned spending.
Review material requisitions and maintains detailed tracking analysis to analyze non-conforming material (NCM) / scrap impacts associated with actuals, plan and forecast
Perform reporting requirements related to the DCPD Operations Balance Scorecard (including Labor Productivity, Cost Productivity and Variable Spend analysis).
Serve as financial business partner in monthly forecasting, financial reporting & analysis, and annual development of detailed department budgets and strategic plan.
Support ongoing initiatives by demonstrating individual accountability, continuous process improvement and teamwork.
Assist with the recommendation, development, and implementation of process improvements in support of department goals.
Foster an environment that promotes Eaton's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution
3 years professional work experience in Finance or Accounting function
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution
Previous experience in systems including M2M, SAP or Oracle
Two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or two years of experience performing cost accounting/financial analysis

Working knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
