Position Title: Lead Customer Order Engineer (Req# 37801)
Job Description:
Design electrical, electro-mechanical, programmable logic controllers, and solid-state controls in motor control applications and electrical distribution systems. Maintain familiarity with communications protocols, variable speed drives, solid-state starters, and electronic motor protection devices in order to maintain design standards. Manage large projects to completion within deadlines with little or no supervision. Interpret customer one-line diagrams, specifications, and wiring diagrams to determine order requirements and apply Eaton designs to meet customer's expectations with a proven ability to generate electrical schematics and mechanical layouts based on the information received. Perform standard engineering assignments often representing a significant portion of a larger project for Eaton. Coordinate with other Eaton product lines and business units as needed to ensure quality of products to end customer. Develop and maintain product line specific training and reference material. Set-up and programming of PLC, HMI/MMI applications and electronic relays. Embrace and drive a continuous improvement work environment, challenging the status quo to drive business process improvements that will lead towards more autonomous work. Position is fixed location based in Fayetteville office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.

Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering or a directly related field plus four (4) years of experience with electrical distribution products.
Must have three (3) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Electrical or electronic circuit product design
Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Low voltage motor control centers
- N.E.C., IEEE, UL, and various local electric codes
- Interpreting both customer specifications and electrical and mechanical drawings
- Utilizing substantial motor control product knowledge for communication with field sales, customers, engineering, and manufacturing personnel
