CO Salary Range: USD 91,500.03 - 134,200.04 per year

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Lead Electrical Automation Engineer.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you'll do:

• Serves as technical lead for all electrical design and relay programming applications
• Coordinate with sales team to ensure Eaton ISG complies with customer's programming requirements, scope of work and industry standards
• Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of switchgear controls and product knowledge in the industry

• Develop and maintain the foundation for relay programming by standardizing processes and programming content to support a highly engineer to order business
• Organize team meetings when necessary to communicate any project updates, schedules, customer requirements, ETO updates etc.
• Participates in development of other team members by providing guidance and transfer of knowledge
• Provide product knowledge and support to external customers (existing and new) and to internal team members and cross functions.
• Supports cross functional teams by providing electrical knowledge and expertise. Such support may include NPD, component sourcing, VAVE/Cost out efforts, production, etc.
• Perform engineering analyses, including confirming product or system capabilities through design feasibility and test methods.
• Prepare systems, and systems integration test protocols.
• Create and modify bills of material in our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
• Perform sustaining engineering tasks within the engineering vault.
• Prepare various technical writings including all engineering aspects of product manuals, including operations and installation manuals.
• Participate in all engineering and manufacturing requirements of our Quality Management System.
• Plan, direct and coordinate assigned engineering activities and projects.
• Conduct design review presentation for projects assigned.
• Assist with training and/or providing engineering support to manufacturing personnel, as required.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years electrical engineering experience
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • 4 or more years of electrical engineering experience
  • Experience working with power distribution equipment
