What you'll do:

Job Description: Lead the design and development of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions to support high availability software and services for IOT solutions in the residential market. Lead the developer operations of a team focused on developing web and mobile apps, connected IOT devices, and various web services. Establish continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices including building automation pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing. Work with system architects to ensure a secure, scalable, and reliable system design. Work with IT and Cybersecurity teams to ensure that infrastructure meets and remains up to date for industry best practices and internal standards. Lead the design and development of monitoring services, scripts, and tools to ensure continuous up time, efficient servicing, and high performance of infrastructure. Work directly with stakeholders and engineering to deliver high quality solutions. Understand and evaluate business needs and requirements to provide innovative, competitive solutions which provide value to the stakeholders. Work and thrive in an agile environment while still supporting and working within the constraints of capital-intensive hardware development projects Lead implementation of DevOps best practices including cloud infrastructure deployment and integrated CI/CD pipelines. Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of cloud services. Develop infrastructure-as-code for cloud service providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform. Design and develop support services and monitoring tools. Implement industry-leading cybersecurity best practices to meet corporate standards and successfully pass cybersecurity audits. Work with corporate IT teams to ensure infrastructure meets corporate IT standards. Provide technical leadership in proposing and adopting new technology solutions, tools, and processes. Position is fixed location based in Peachtree, GA office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a related occupation in the software or IT solutions industry. Experience must include:

Five (5) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
• Leading implementation of DevOps best practices including cloud infrastructure deployment and integrated CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experience working with GIT and Atlassian tool chain such as JIRA, Confluence, GitHub or similar version control and issue tracking solution
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, C# or other cloud scripting languages
• Configuring and maintaining the Jenkins pipeline for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Administering Subversion (SVN) repositories including creation, configuration, and access control
• Utilizing platforms like Ansible or Chef to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of Infrastructure

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm.
