Job summary
The IT Supplier & Procurement Product Owner Director will be responsible for maximizing the value of the Supplier and Procurement products offering by creating, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog.
You will set and champion the Procurement product strategy & vision, working with key senior leaders to influence strategic business objectives, develop and maintain the product roadmap, and define end to end key operational processes.
Included in the responsibilities are budget preparation and tracking for all the deployments at the program level, define key performance indicators (KPI's) related to warehousing, monitor and report on the success of warehousing initiatives and also drives Agile principles across IT Supply Chain team.

As a leader within Eaton's Information Technology function, you will have direct management responsibility, developing and directing multiple Product Teams, including analysts, systems architects, and Product Owners for the Supplier and Procurement Capabilities, to deliver business outcomes for their product area.
The Product Owner Director, you will work directly with multiple teams of analysts, engineers and other product team members to execute the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, define user stories, and provide voice of the customer within product processes and across the relevant portfolios and business units.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Own the product backlog, managing and prioritizing user stories, decomposing epics into features, and continuous improvement work.
- Drive for solutions that are modular and reusable through the use of a standard deployment model and governance process.
- Coordinate and manage the Operating reviews for the IT SCM team with the business and within IT.
- Plan, manage, and track product funding and the team's time. Is fully responsible for product budget and profit plan.
- Manage a team of IT professionals and/or managers, providing appropriate coaching to develop employee skills and continuously improve performance.
- Develops and maintains product-specific persona and customer journeys.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and customers, understanding their priorities and defining business outcomes and KPIs for the product.
- Communicate goals for product increments and releases. Define goals for team sprints.
- Accountable for product support, stability, and governance: including data, policy, cybersecurity, and usage.
- Act as a functional expert in areas related to the product, including across Eaton's portfolio and with other business units.
- Drive definition and continuous improvement of product processes (e.g., Lean, Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps, etc.)
- Understand commercial, business and go-to-market strategies where applicable.
- Support a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle.
- Manage contracts with software and service vendors to support the product strategy. Manage vendor strategy and relationship.
- Integrations to multiple ERPs that include SAP ECC, SAP S/4, Vista, Oracle EBS/R12/VG, Mapics and MFG Pro.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is required. Advanced Degree is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT providing support to business with complex technology projects or programs.
• Minimum 7 years of experience leading complex products or programs within IT (Product Owner, IT Architect or equivalent position).
• Manager of people experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
Technical knowledge
• Expertise with product management and modern product delivery processes.
• Strong understanding of and experience working with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban software delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles.
• Strong understanding of modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain execution systems including GPS, data analytics and reporting tools.
• Expertise with creation and management of product roadmaps.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $172500.03 - $253000.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
