Eaton's Corporate IT group is seeking an IT Product Owner - Human Resources. The role can be located at the following Eaton sites: Beachwood, OH; Galesburg, MI; Houston, TX; Moon Township PA; Raleigh, NC; Waukesha, WI. A hybrid (3/2) work model is available.
Reporting to the VP Enterprise Services, the IT Product Owner - Human Resources will oversee the product vision, roadmap, release schedule, and backlog for HR systems and integrations globally. They will balance new features with continuous improvement, system health, and support, while managing supplier partnerships, including contracts, billing, roadmap, and escalations. Acting as the first point of contact for the product area, they will collaborate with business partners and customers to define epics that align with key business objectives for the Scrum or Kanban team. Additionally, they will lead a team to ensure their development and alignment with business objectives.

In this role you will:
• Design and communicate product vision, roadmap, and epics to meet customer/ business needs
• Be a subject matter expert (SME) regarding the business processes and the capabilities/limitations of products assigned
• Maintain knowledge and awareness of all product functionality supported by the respective product area
• Lead the end-to-end process of software selection, including evaluating potential solutions, conducting RFPs, CAR preparations, and manage capital plans.
• Utilize agile methodologies to manage project timelines, resources, deliverables, and requirements to ensure alignment with HR Enablement and Innovation.
• Lead activities in mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration of systems and processes.
• Communicate goals for product increments and releases and define goals for team sprints
• Support decomposition of epics into features and decompose features into user stories
• Own the team backlog and manages & prioritizes user stories and technical enablers
• Support estimation of epics, features, technical enablers, and user stories, while also supporting issue resolutions
• Manage with Tech Lead, Solution Architect, and Release Train Engineer to determine sequencing of user stories and technical enablers
• Collaborate with Manage Tech Lead, Solution Architect, and Release Train Engineer to determine sequencing of user stories and technical enablers
• Manages and allocates product funding across lifecycle activities
• Responsible for product, data, policy, cybersecurity and usage governance
• Helps define operational processes alongside scrum master and technical lead
• Works with user experience and engineering leads to define and prioritize work, aligning to experience direction
• Evangelist for product throughout the enterprise and ensures proper usage
• Must ensure ongoing support, maintenance, uptime, performance, availability in collaboration with either support or technical lead
• For relevant product teams, manages individuals on the team and guides/coaches career development
• Works closely with business stakeholders, understands their priorities, defines business outcomes and KPIs for the product, and communicates project updates and outcomes to all stakeholders
Your Qualifications:
• 10+ years experience delivering HR Technology projects with a focus on product management and global large-scale transformation projects
• Proven experience with managing cloud/SaaS applications, and cloud migrations
• Oracle HRMS, SAP SuccessFactors experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable communicating strategy and updates across the enterprise, including C suite.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, systems, integrations/interconnectivity, security, release management and data privacy
• Experience with how to maintain and improve data quality
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with AI / advanced technology solutions / ML, RPA, etc
• UKGPro/Dimensions experience a plus
• Experience implementing and owning Human Resource products and tools
• Experience leading scrum teams in an Agile environment and strong Agile knowledge
• Experience influencing and managing cross-functional work streams to execute initiatives with quality and on-time
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Human Resources discipline
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)

The expected annual salary range for this role is $153749.97 - $225499.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
