Eaton's Electrical division is currently seeking a Inventory Supply Manager. This position will be located at our Raleigh, NC. facility.
As an Inventory Supervisor, you will be an integral member of Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Supply Chain Team, with responsibilities for inventory procurement activities. You will align strategies to best achieve the customer's requirements, 3PH inventory targets, while managing supplier capacity and inventory levels. This is a manager of people position that oversees the cycle count analyst team.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83,250,750 - $122,210 a year.

What you'll do:
- Lead and maintain the Inventory Forecast Model for 3 Phase Inventory
- Work cross functionally with finance, SCM and operations for model inputs.
- Communicate periodic updates of progress to Inventory forecast
- Perform analysis including Excess & Obsolete materials, excess receipts, on time delivery, inventory days on hand, etc.
- Review, approve, and drive implementation of Engineering Change Orders
- Coordinate ramp up & ramp down of materials to balance cost, quality, and delivery
- Specify appropriate master data settings for new material setup
- Lead overall Inventory Management for Raleigh Plant Operations and 3Phase Ledger & all product lines including:
- Determine the appropriate level of inventory per product line
- Develop and deploy the strategy to reach and maintain that level
- Utilize Six Sigma / Lean tools as appropriate and develop teams as necessary to meet or exceed established inventory goals including accuracy of on-hand quantities.
- Lead Annual Physical Inventories including reconciliations of variances, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Coordinate, plan, and train employees in support of annual physical inventory.
- Manage and lead a robust cycle count program to meet Eaton requirements, driving corrective actions to root cause
- Supervise cycle count analyst team.
- Update planning BOMs or other planning mechanisms on a regular basis
- Attend in-person daily tier 2 meetings at the plant and follow up on action items timely
- Weekly GEMBAs with the battery supervisor at our distribution center.
- You will work with product management daily to understand demand requirements across the various battery offerings and plan supply accordingly to ensure no understock or overstock of material.
- Participate in twice per tier meetings with battery planning team and product management to ensure alignment with demand.
- Align strategies to meet High 5 metric goals, such as on time delivery, DOH, cost reduction and quality.
- You will align and be responsible for battery planning across the Raleigh Area Plants ($20M of battery inventory).
- Support business monthly SIOP cycle including reporting and presenting on the battery space.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum three (3) years professional experience in supply chain or operations in a manufacturing setting
- Must have at least one year Cycle count experience in a manufacturing setting
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management
- Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- CPIM or other supply chain certification
- Previous experience in production planning in a Make to Order manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and tool sets as they relate to production scheduling and materials management.
Skills:
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of ERP requirements and customer order processing
- Understand bill of materials, product costing, order entry, and typical supply chain functions.
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present data effectively to support recommendations regarding supply/demand plan.
- Ability to adjust work priorities to meet continuously changing schedules
- Maintaining sense of urgency to customers' requirements.
