Eaton's ES AMER HQ MFGSC division is currently seeking a Inventory Clerk 2nd shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.70 per hour.

What you'll do:

Primary Functions:
• The Inventory Clerk role is primarily responsible for maintaining location and inventory accuracy via cycle counts, investigation of inventory discrepancies, and reconciliation through inventory adjustments.

Essential Functions:
• Count with a high level of quality and integrity to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze and investigate transactional data for styles to determine root cause of discrepancies.

• Documentation and reporting of investigation results with the appropriate teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Use available system tools including WMS, Vista, Sterling Business Center, and MS Office as needed for analysis, investigation, and reporting.
• Apply Eaton product knowledge to assist in driving location and inventory accuracy improvements.
• Collaborate with Inbound and Outbound departments to develop a strong base knowledge of their functions to support investigations and reporting of inventory discrepancies.
• Record any measurable statistics which your position impacts such as production expenses, maintenance expenses, sales volumes, payroll costs, capital expenditures, research budgets, cost of purchases, value of inventories controlled, employees supervised (direct and indirect).
• Location Accuracy
• Net $ Variance from Physical Inventory
• Net $ Inventory Adjustments
• $ Gross Inventory Adjustments
• $ Total Inventory Stated
• Ensures safety guidelines are met by the proper palletizing, re-palletizing, and restacking of product.
• Performs other miscellaneous warehouse-related and safety duties.
• Maintain compliance with procedures and policies
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
• High School or equivalent from an accredited school
• 1 year of Forklift experience required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area of Duncan, SC (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
• WMS console experience
• VISTA experience
• Eaton product knowledge
• Consistent high performance in quality measurements
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision
• Attention to detail
