Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Services Marketing Intern. This role will be located at our Burlington Ontario site.

What you'll do:

Primary Function:

  • The primary functions of the position are to create, support, and implement the value propositions to generate demand and support the marketing of Eaton' s Services offering.
  • This position is responsible for supporting digital and traditional marketing initiatives and campaigns, aligned with Eaton's growth strategy and B2B customer journey.
  • The position requires understanding the importance of the B2B buyer journey and drawing on the perspectives and needs of the customer, creating informative content that drives conversation, leads and sales. The role will require collaborating with product managers, sales teams, content writers, other Eaton marketing divisions, web designers and agencies.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in creation & launch of commercial catalogs, sales aides, other information documents
  • Provide marketing support for digital marketing content in support of new product launches
  • Document standard work processes
  • Provide report summaries as needed for sales and price performance.
  • Support marketing events (webinars, distributor events, tradeshows)
  • Support activities within an integrated marketing campaign from design to execution
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors on creative content creation (digital/print)
  • Partner with product managers and sales teams to build and optimize content on the website

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled full-time pursuing a college diploma or university degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business or Communications.
  • This position does not offer relocation.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams ranging from IT, field sales, marketing, product line management, and senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community.
  • Experience in data analytics.

Skills:

  • Effective time management and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to learn market influences.
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, enthusiastic, results oriented team player.
  • Strong MS Office skills; PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
