Eaton's is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative Intern.
What you'll do:
Eaton has an opening for a 12-16-month internship opportunity in our sales function located in Ottawa, Ontario. This role will commence in May 2025.
The Ottawa sales office is responsible for sales, service and support of Eaton product including Electrical Distribution, Automation & Control, Power Distribution and Circuit Protection in the Ontario region.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assist the Sales office with any / all inside sales functions including, but not limited to, quotations, data entry, order entry, order management and product support.

- Assisting a team of Senior Sales Representatives in evaluating and preparing construction project quotations.
- Engaging with contractors and Consultants to develop solutions for electrical installations.
- Working with Channel Partners in applications of Eaton product and service offerings.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical, Mechanical or Power Systems Engineering or business-related Degree or Diploma Co-op program,
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- This position does not offer relocation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution and/or control products.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management capabilities.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Passion for innovation & continuous improvement, and willingness to challenge status quo.
