What you'll do:

Eaton is seeking an Intern - Sales Operations to join our Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure (CPDI) Sales team for an 8-month term. The Sales Operations Intern will be based out of our Toronto facility.

Primary Function:

As a Sales Operations Specialist Intern, you will work with stakeholders to improve sales operations. You will analyze data to recommend solutions for sales performance issues and identify ways to streamline processes within Sales Programs.

Essential functions:

• Improve processes by being a key member of cross-functional teams on projects.
• Communicate with management and team members about tasks and milestones.
• Perform sales analytics and reporting to support sales performance.

• Promote process improvement.
• Validate and research sales activities to ensure data integrity.
• Support the sales team in data collection and interpretation to boost sales.
• Adhere to Eaton's Philosophy, Values, Safety, and Environmental Standards.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Enrolled and returning to a college or university program (Engineering, Business administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting or related field).
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position does not offer relocation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or co-op experience.
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Prior internship or co-op experience.

• Strong customer service focus with a commitment to confidentiality, a high level of professionalism and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely on multiple projects.
• Good analytical/problem-solving, mathematical skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
