What you'll do:
Eaton Industries (Canada) Company located in Milton, ON has an opportunity for a 4-month Intern role as a "Quality Administrator " within our Quality department. This role will commence in May 2025.
Primary Function:
To improve and automate processes related to quality, test, and maintenance. Integration and standardization of excel sheets, access databases, and SharePoint applications with focus to reduce NVA (non-value-added activities) to improve process efficiency, response time and reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Automate key quality and test processes.
- Develop and update existing databases with required features.
- Reduce number of excel sheets to avoid redundancy and duplication of efforts.
- Contribute actively to improve test database, FPY (first pass yield), rework, MRB and incoming inspection processes for pro-active detection of quality issues.
- Automate generation of key internal, customer and supplier related Key Performance Indicators (KPl's).
- Developing semi-automated " internal auditing system ".
- Identify and document process flows and ensure files are updated with corresponding details.
- Perform other related duties as assigned duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:
Qualifications - Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in and returning to college diploma or university degree program.
- This position does not offer relocation.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with no company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in macros and Minitab.
- Knowledge of quality tools and techniques
- Strong analytical skills using Excel, access database, Office 360, and PowerPoint.
- Strong customer service focus with a commitment to confidentiality, a high level of professionalism and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely on multiple projects, in a manufacturing environment.
- Good problem solving, programming, database management, analytical skills and troubleshooting ability.
