Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Procurement Analyst Intern.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.30 per hour.

What you'll do:

This internship is within the Badger SCM Buying team that supports Eaton's Line PDRD Product lines. As a Procurement Intern, you will perform purchase order management for selected suppliers, supporting Sourcing metric reporting, analyzing AP invoice and receivable discrepancies, managing PO receipt issues, and maintaining vendor master list - all contributing to the overall execution of functional initiatives. An intern works alongside experienced buyers to ensure Suppliers are managed and all material is made available to operations on time.

As a Procurement Intern, you are an integral part of the Buying team which is responsible for the Procurement of Direct material for Product line Regulators and Transformers.
Internship and Early Talent assignments hold true significance to our businesses. In turn, participants gain enriching and diverse experiences and work side by side with experienced seniors to power their careers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with cross functional team
  • Developing and reporting Sourcing metrics
  • Learn and perform analysis and developing reports using analytical tools like Power BI
  • Support the buying team with GR/IR discrepancies resolution working closely with Finance team.
  • Collaborating with COE team on refining the Supplier OTD reports.
  • Coordinates the Warehouse and Logistics teams to expedite any emergency purchases
  • Work closely with Planning and buying team with RCCA for any Inventory discrepancies

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or received a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (please don't round).
  • Able to work in the United States on an on-going basis without company sponsorship.
  • Relocation is not being offered for this position, candidate must reside/attend school within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to SAP preferable
  • Excellent Excel skill set
  • Previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
  • Prior internship or co-op experience.
